[comp.unix.aux] Help: terminfo.src needed

time@oxtrap.UUCP (Tim Endres) (03/26/89)

AUX:
I can not compile my terminfo description for xterm
because it "uses=vt100"! Does anyone know how I can
get terminfo.src? This seems like Apple's problem.
How can they use terminfo in good concience when
they know I can't really compile anything?

Both our contribution to the MIT X11R3 tape and our Apple X11R3 product
provide xterm terminfo entries which are ALREADY compiled. See server/ddx/macII
on the MIT tape or /usr/lib/X11 in beta releases of our product for the
xterm.tic and xterms.tic compiled terminfo entries. If you're trying to modify
these entries, check discussion on this group back a month or so for more
details.
