We acquired from Unisoft the optimizing C and Fortran compilers. We have version 1.8.2H and are running A/UX 1.1. We sail through compilation without any errors but during execution, we get the following error message : assertion failed in "../../../LIB/libf/frecio.c" on line 731 It appears the message is coming from the fortran call OPEN. READ do seem to proceed correctly but we would like to know what is going on. I can't find Unisoft's phone number anywhere in the documentation so I can't report this problem :-(. If somebody could tell me what caused this error and it's implication or give me Unisoft's phone number, I would be very gratefull. Thanks.
