I am using a MAC IIcx to mount a filesystem via NFS. Irrespective of the number of files on the mounted file systems, the 'df' command always displays the total capacity of the file system with 0 inodes. The remote file system is on CDC 850 (Cyber) running NOS/VE. When I run 'fsck' command on network file system, it gives the following error message: <dirname> is not a block or character device, DELETE to abort where <dirname> is the mount point of the file system. Am I doing anything wrong? Is there any way I can fix this problem or does it have to do with NFS Server (CDC 850 in my case).
