I have two machines, one with an Apple cartridge tape drive. I decided to backup up the disks. Backing up the one with the tape drive was easy although very slow. To backup the other, I thought I'd have to move the tape drive, until I read in the manuals about rdump. rdump claims to be able to backup to a tape drive on another machine by creating a server process. However, when I run it, I get an error message saying that it can't find /etc/rmt. Sure enough, there are all kinds of man files, include files, etc. for rmt, but no /etc/rmt (which I assume is the server). So, where's /etc/rmt? Kevin Crowston
