[comp.unix.aux] netlib@mthvax archive server

aem@mthvax.cs.miami.edu (a.e.mossberg) (12/20/89)

I've just set up the netlib archive server package on
mthvax.cs.miami.edu

By sending requests to netlib@mthvax.cs.miami.edu or mthvax!netlib,
you can retrieve various files I have available. Specifically,
I want to mention the sources I have for A/UX. Here's the index
(which can be retrieved by sending the command:

	send index from mac2

to netlib)
[start of index]

Various programs and patches for A/UX

attach.sh	- attach a process to a tty (from comp.unix.aux)
bsd-uucp.sh	- Berkeley uucp
comsat.c	- the comsat program
dim.c - screen dimmer - only works with A/UX 1.0
df - a shell script to give a BSD-style 'df'
finger.c	- a fixed finger, and..
fingerd.c	- ..the associated daemon
gccbin.tar	- Binary of gcc 1.35 w/ patch 1-3 applied
		- (if you want the sources, they're on apple.com)
man.c - a decent man program
sendmail.diff	- diffs to get sendmail 5.61 to work under A/UX
tcsh.1 - the man page for the tcsh
tcsh.bin	- and a binary of tcsh for A/UX
xdmshell.sh	- a pseduo-shell to start up xdm (X-Window login) on the MacII

Note that if you're using mthvax!netlib, binary files can not be sent
via e-mail. So, gccbin.tar and tcsh.bin are not available. Sorry, you'll
have to get someone at an internet site to ftp them for you, and then get
them from them via uucp.

[end of index]

I'll add more as I come across them, or feel free to send some to me
to add to the archive (send me a note first, I may already have it).
