Has anyone used the NS16032 processor from National Semiconductor? Is it any better than the 68000? I am thinking of building a home computer system around this chip, but I wasn't sure if it was better than the 68000. I know the 16032's memory management unit is infinitely better than the 68000's (doesn't take much!) I've been impressed by what I've seen on the 16032, but I've seen no direct comparison between the 68000 and the 16032. I'm interested in data similar to the data on the 68000, Z8000, Z8001, and 8086 that I just saw on the net. Execution times of various instructions would also be helpfull.
