Does A/UX 2.0 support the Macintosh SE/30? Regardless of whether Apple support this configuration, does it actually work? I would be grateful for any information. Please mail, I'll summarise if there is interest. Apologies if this subject has been covered before. Yes, A/UX 2.0 is announced as supporting the SE/30. In fact, A/UX 1.1.1 might well work on the SE/30, but it isn't supported, other than having all the startup messages made narrow enough to fit on an SE/30 screen :-) -- William Roberts ARPA: liam@cs.qmw.ac.uk Queen Mary & Westfield College UUCP: liam@qmw-cs.UUCP Mile End Road AppleLink: UK0087 LONDON, E1 4NS, UK Tel: 071-975 5250 (Fax: 081-980 6533)

I have an SE/30 at home that's been running A/UX 2.0 for months. Fast and slick. MultiFinder and the easy switching between CommandShell windows make the limited screen size quite tolerable. A/UX 1.1.1 fully supports the SE/30, it was meant from the start to support the SE/30, and it is stated in the official press release that it supports the SE/30. --Brian Bechtel blob@apple.com "A/UX 1.1.1 supports the SE/30"
