I am working on (in fact, almost finished) a port of the latest ftp daemon (/usr/etc/in.ftpd on A/UX) for A/UX. Once again, this will be for Ver 1.1 but may (should?? will?? must??) work on 1.1.1 and 2.0. This version of ftpd is the kind that uses syslog and syslogd to log ftp entries and I've hacked it to take special notice of anonymous ftp logins. If there is interest in this, e-mail me and I'll make it available under ftp/pub... On a side note, I REALLY hate saying that somewthing will work on 1.1 but "may" work on 1.1.1 and 2.0. What is the scoop? Is 2.0 (and 1.1.1) back- wards compatible with 1.1? I would HATE to see all this work (as well as my work on nntp and rrn) to go to waste when I move up to 2.0! -- =========================================================================== #include <std/disclaimer.h> =:^) Jim Jagielski NASA/GSFC, Code 711.1 jim@jagmac2.gsfc.nasa.gov Greenbelt, MD 20771 ===========================================================================
