We are attempting to build elm 2.3 pl6 under aux 2.0. Are there any "lessons learned" someone could pass on to me? Thanks, -- Gray Huggins Internet: huggins@ticipa.ti.com Texas Instruments PO Box 655012 M/S 3635 TI MSG: GHUG Dallas, TX 75265 Voice: (214) 917-2202

There wasn't much to it --- I mostly just ran Configure and watched it compile. The only interesting bit was adding a call to set42sig() in the main() routine --- that prevents Elm from dying with "Alarm clock" after running a while. I used gcc and -D_SYSV_SOURCE -D_BSD_SOURCE. --John -------------------------------------------------------------------------- John L. This used to frustrate the hell out of me when I was running Elm 2.2 back when I was using A/UX 1.1.1. Now I'm talking to a NeXT over our network, running Elm 2.2p14. (I've been too lazy/busy to update to 2.3 - one of these days I'll get around to it...) --Steve -- ----- Steve Lemke, Engineering Quality Assurance, Radius Inc., San Jose ----- ----- Reply to: lemke@radius.com (Note: NEW domain-style address!!) -----
