Re: ATARI Microsoft(tm) BASIC on cartridge I've seen two references to this product in two different magazines. One was in SOFTSIDE, late last year or early this year, which said that ATARI was close to releasing Microsoft on cartridge. The other was in COMPUTE not too long ago, and that said that "Official ATARI sources" claimed no knowledge of any effort to put Microsoft BASIC on a cartridge. You figure it out. As a side note, when you call ATARI and mention other memory boards for the 400 (everybody else makes a 48K) or the Percom Dual-Density disk, they haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about... In a related note, the ARPA INFO-ATARI mailing list came out recently with instructions on how to make a back-up copy of MICROSOFT BASIC which will run. If there is sufficient interest, I will forward it to the net. NOTE: The procedure should not be used to sell or otherwise distribute Microsoft BASIC to anyone who doesn't already own a legal copy, just to make a back-up for your own personal use, which is legal.
