I still haven't had much luck in getting A/UX and UUCP working properly. I've even had problems with the "logfiles" that UUCP is supposed to keep track of. They didn't show up until after I rebooted A/UX. Now as far as I understand, these logfiles such as AUDIT - LOGFILE - ETC... should come up right away, and I shouldn't have to reboot the machine to have them show up, should I? Anyway, here is a sample of the /usr/spool/uucp/LOGFILE that finally showed up ... princeto!uucp (10/29-8:48:40) (C,159,0) FAILED (BAD LOGIN/MACHINE NAME) princeto!uucp (10/29-8:49:10) (C,166,0) FAILED (BAD LOGIN/MACHINE NAME) princeto!uucp (10/30-13:32:53) (C,245,0) FAILED (BAD LOGIN/MACHINE NAME) I'm not quite sure were this leaves me. Someone suggested that the mix of upper/lowercase letters in the login name could be at fault (U_pton). Could this be a possibility, and if it is then why are the examples in the manuals shown like this? ..
