From: Jerry E Pournelle <POURNE@Mit-Mc> Is there a Pascal that compiles to native code for the Apple? Or some ot her high-level language that does that for Apples? Information greatly appreciated. JEP

From: Brian Bechtel <BECHTEL@Sri-Iu> There are all sorts of Basic compilers for the Apple II. Check out some recent issues of KiloBaud MicroComputing, Byte, or Interface Age. I've seen a "compiled" subset of Pascal for Apple, but the company's out of business. -------

I've heard that a compiled Modula-2 is going to be available for the Apple. Might be worth waiting for. --steve serocki sdcsvax!sdccsu3!ix222
