What the under-water demo teller forgot to tell you is that the person
who took out the HP battery pack was able to do it without the aid of
any external tools, just a couple of fingers.  TIs have always needed
a screwdriver or coin or similar instrument to remove the batteries.
Another user-friendly feature!
(The only exceptions to this rule was my friend's TI Programmer (LED-type)
whose batteries would fall out if you pressed the OFF button even
a little too hard!)
