I'm currently running A/UX on my SE/30 with 5 megs RAM and using a
TrailBlazer modem. In fact, I'm typing this message using the printer
port as a serial connection at 19200 bps to my IIci and notice only
occasional performance hits, mostly when bnews (I haven't tried cnews
yet) is doing an expire. I don't notice any (or maybe very minor)
performance hits when I'm doing a news download, which usually has no
problem going at the maximum speed possible for PEP (about 1260 bytes/sec).

Hallo

I want to know it is possible to use a SE/30 with A/UX and cnews
to control a 19200 Baud modem and have reasonable through put?

Have A/UX tape driver for ARCHIVE 1/4" tapedrives?

Thanks in advance
