I have very recently installed AUX 2.0 and so am just getting to grips with it at the moment. My understanding so far is that device drivers under AUX require a Kernel part and a Mac part. The Kernel part needs to be configured into the Kernel. One cannot just drop an INIT into the global system folder and expect it to work as one can under pure MacOS. So as far as third party devices are concerned (eg video cards, GPIB cards, ethernet cards ...etc...) I seem to be dependent on them producing AUX versions of their drivers. First: Is my understanding correct? Second: If my understanding is correct then; Is there available a list of NuBus cards that have AUX drivers OR is it just a question of badgering the appropriate company OR is it a question of writing ones own device drivers? I am particularly interested in video cards that work under AUX. Video cards that have the functionality of the Colour Space Card or the Moonraker card rather than a simple video card for driving a monitor. If you do know of any cards that have AUX drivers now could you please let me know. If there are sufficient responses and/or sufficient products with AUX drivers I will summarise to the net.
