Here's another language query for all you gurus out there. Does anybody know anything about implementations of ADA for z80 C/PM systems. I've seen ads for two - Janus and Supersoft? Does anyone know anything about these or others? How about for a Z-80 UCSD system? aron shtull-trauring harpo!presby!aron

To the best of my knowledge, not only is there no Ada (TM) for Crap/M, there are no Ada compilers for anything. Period. The DoD is being very strict about what gets to use the trademark Ada which it owns, and only compilers that pass a very tough test suite get to call themselves Ada. Last I heard, nobody had. They do allow people to put out Ada subset compilers on the condition that they indicate it is a subset and promise they will have a complete compiler by a certain date. Does anybody know if there is a compiler that has past the suite yet?

Of the large systems the designer's company ALSYS and SofTech probably will get it done first and TeleSoft for the micro market, based on some of the people working for them.
