Well, it seems that Shiva, the new owners of the EtherPortII card, are not yet finished with their A/UX drivers for their card yet, so none are available from them. Also, I've been told by Dayna Customer Support that they are no longer providing THEIR A/UX drivers for the EtherPortII card either, since it's not theirs anymore... That means that if you have a EtherPortII card, you don't have drivers for it to work under 2.0(.1)... Well, you do now! I will provide the drivers (available via anon-ftp) for the half-length (National-based) EtherPortII card until Shiva has their versions ready. These drivers work under 2.0 and 2.0.1 and are ONLY for the newer half-length EPII cards. I am also providing the drivers for the older full-length EPII cards, but these drivers were orginally written for A/UX 1.1. They WILL work under 2.0(.1) but ONLY provide TCP/IP capability. These drivers should ONLY be used to get us over the hump until Shiva's drivers are ready. If you snag these drivers then you do so with the agreement that once Shiva's version are ready, you will delete these and get theirs. Okay? The full-length drivers are called: EPIIdr.tar.Z The half-length drivers are called: dp.tar.Z Located in: ~/ftp/pub Located on: jagubox.gsfc.nasa.gov Be SURE to get these via BINARY tranfer mode. Also, read the README files, especially for the dp drivers, since they "require" installation via finstall and therefore are kinda cumbersome. -- =========================================================================== #include <std/disclaimer.h> =:^) Jim Jagielski NASA/GSFC, Code 711.1 jim@jagubox.gsfc.nasa.gov Greenbelt, MD 20771 "I object to all this sex on the television.
