Does anyone know what it means when one's system gives the error
message:
/etc/macsysinit: Timed out waiting for CommandShell to grab console messages.
What eventually happens is that the machine hangs ignoring all input from
keyboard or mouse ("Cannot attach to ToolBox").
The frustrating part is this is happening essentially every reboot---it
happens for no apparent reason, and I have to either reinstall _everything_
to get it to work _or_ doing something incredibly trivial like delete a
file that shouldn't have any effect.
Confused ...

Thank you FidoNet for both reposting this and giving me an account ... only noone bothered telling me what my password is ... Graham Murphy (No connection to fidonet at all, but it's good to see that the fidonet gateways are living up to their usual standard of randomness.)
