[comp.unix.aux] Upgrading to 7.0 drivers

jim@jagubox.gsfc.nasa.gov (Jim Jagielski) (06/26/91)

Well, although I'm not yet ready to take the 7.0 plunge (and considering that
I CAN'T since A/UX 2.0.1 don't like 7.0 :) I DO want to upgrade to the new
7.0 drivers.

Now Antonio provided the info about how to install them under A/UX (I am
assuming that A/UX's BackGrounder likes and works with 7.0's drivers) but
how does one install them on 6.0.x Mac's?

Is it as simple as inserting the 7.0 Printing disk, selecting Installer and
then installing them? Sounds too simple and obvious to be true... ;)

Anyway, E-mail responses would be prefered... pleeze.
