I thought I might respond to Thursday's messages about Smalltalk-80<tm> with some of what I know about the release process. As you may all know, licenses are not currently available. I wouldn't know what is happening within Xerox management but I certainly wouldn't lose hope that things will start moving again soon. Regardless of licenses for others, the four companies who were working with the Software Concepts Group (LRG's new name) are free to bring out Smalltalk-80 systems themselves.
