From: Dick <Mead@Usc-Eclb> I have a QT Expandable+II, a 64k dynamic ram card, that exhibits a strange problem. Perhaps someone came give some hints as to mods I might try to fix it. I put it into a Z80 CP/M system, and the system boots ok, files load and execute ok, memory tests run ok, but it will not write to disk!!!, when I try to write to disk nothing but hex FF's are written, which tells me that the memory does not seem to respond to the signals the DMA disk controller sends to read from memory. This happens on two different brands of DMA floppy controllers, which seem to work ok with two other dynamic memory boards..any input would be appreciated, except I won't consider altering the disk controller, just the strange memory. -------
