I have a rather nice archetecture independent cross assembler for 16 bit machoines which ran on an 8080 under cp/m on a 1.4 compatable floppy (the system was 2.2 but compatable) I have the binary .COM file but the source was spread out over a couple of disks. The one that did not get munged as I came across the Atlantic to Toronto was the one with the string utilities and extended (32 bit for compiler internal use only) arithmetic routines. Ha ! those are pretty trivial, reconstructiong the parser and table managers (change the object machine by changing the tables and precious little else) is a majaor task. What I would like to do is to read off the floppy to a UNIX file, extract the cp/m files to UNIX files and run a disassembler. Can anybody help ? I can read the disk OK. I don't really have the time to spare to write the file handler parts of CP/M in 'C' to pull the files apart. Somehwere I have a good Z-80 disassembler, but that runs on CP/M (##!!##) as well ! So if anyone has a disassembler or an emulator for CP/M that will run on UNIX (even binary, VAX & 11/44 here) that I could use I would be immensely grateful. /anton aylward HCRC ../decvax!hcr!anton ../decvax!hcr!hcrvax!anton
