Lets lay the silly discussion on whether Relativity was true before the discovery to rest if we can. Like most scientific theories, Relativity did not spring full blown from a lotus blossom. It was proposed to start with as a way of explaining years of experimental results that did not gibe with older theories. This certainly tells me that it was true BEFORE formulation. But this is a mere quibble. Roger, et.al., seem to be arguing the position that no external reality exists, or at least that we can know nothing about it. This totally flies in the face of common-sense and any view of truth that seem at all capable getting past first base. One can always not accept that existence exists and argue forever that it has not been "proved" to but this is an intellectual game. It has no power to deal with reality. It is the very abnegation of any possibility of such power. In the future I will not waste my or the net folk's time on such sophomoric mental masturbation. - Tim
