[comp.parallel] History of parallel computation

zifrony@TAURUS.BITNET (03/25/88)

Hello to all you readers!

I need information concerning the "history" of parallel machines.
The only source of information I laid my hands on, till now was
the ENSLOW book from 1974, and his article in Computing Surveys,
dated 1977.
If any of you has any information I can use, such as pointers to
the literature, please send it to me.

As I do not read the news all the time, and due to lack of disk
space, I seem to miss a lot of the stuff sent, please mail any
information to me directly. I will compile a summary, and post it
to comp.arch.

My mail address is : zifrony@MATH.Tau.Ac.IL

Thank you for your time and effort
