Also any references detailing >its history ............... There are many tech. reports from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigne. There is one on `Bench Marking Hypercubes' by Daniel P. Reed and Derrick C. Grunwald. Most of these appear in Proceeding of the 3rd Conference on Hypercube Concurrent Computers and Applications, Pasadena CA., January, 1988. You will find info on NCUBE, AMETEK and MARKIII, besides the IPSC. VNRAO
