[comp.parallel] Spice on transputers

suter@uunet.UU.NET (David Suter) (02/22/89)

I have read that Deustch Research have produced a version of SPICE
for the CSA transputer board (which I believe is a single transputer
as a coprocessor for a PC). Does anyone have any information on the state
of this product (is it commercially available - does it make use of a full
network of transputers rather than just a single coprocessor) or
other ports of circuit simulators to parallel hardware (particularly
transputers)?

(a while ago I asked for information on the Express environment and
Definicon transputer boards - I received only one substantial reply but many
requests for summaries of my info. - I expect to have first hand experience
on this in about a week - so for those waiting for information - I haven't
forgotten but would prefer to give my impressions as well).

d.s.
