[comp.parallel] The CSP Heritage

ben@uunet.UU.NET (Ben Lian) (04/26/89)

Hoare's CSP has influenced the design of several programming languages
since 1978, the most obvious ones being Ada and occam (talk about chalk
and cheese!) If you know of any others I would like to hear from you.
References to books/papers would be most useful.

Oops! Another request for references. Sorry! I should have gotten
hold of Eugene Miya's parallel computing bibliography after all....

"Fortunately the computer virus did no harm to our records. It was
immediately devoured by all the bugs in our programming."
