Can anyone out there please help me?. I'm on the lookout for a benchmark test that is specifically designed for *multi-processor* systems. The test I am looking for would ideally deal with the system as a whole, and not just with specifics as with whetstones/dhrystones/Linpack/Byte etc. Does such a beast exist? If not, how do manufacturers of multi-processor kit specify performance?. Any pointers in the right direction would be gratefully received ( as would any listings of benchmarks you have lying around ). Please _don't_ send details of benchmarks that require certain applications to be resident on the system. Thanks in anticipation.
