I need to conduct a survey of explictly parallel programming models for Fortran which allow the user to exploit both private and shared memory. We need to select an appropriate one for a scalable machine being acquired for the Massively Parallel Computing Initiative at LLNL. This machine will have more than 100 processors, and supports both private processor memory and shared memory. We are interested in other languages and programming models in the initiative, but this survey is limited to Fortran and programming models presenting a mix of private and shared memory. Could anyone knowing of either publicly available work, or software which is commercially available at reasonable prices, please provide me with a suitable contact by email or other reliable means? Thanks, Eugene D. Brooks III L-298 LLNL Livermore, CA 94550 (415) 423-7341 brooks@maddog.llnl.gov, brooks@maddog.uucp
