I have 2 questions: 1) I have a VIC-20 and would like to do some assembly language programming with it. The only problem is that I don't know where to find or how to use alot of the subroutines which must be in the machine's ROM somewhere; stuff like floating point add and multiply routines, trig functions, etc. In fact, I'd like to know the purpose of every byte addressable by the processor. I have the VIC-20 Programmer's Reference Manual but it doesn't say anything about what is in the Basic ROM and I'm sure that there a parts of the kernal which aren't mentioned in the manual, ie the screen editor. Any pointers to additional reference material or your own knowledge will be much appreciated. 2) Are the machine specific ARPANET micro newsgroups like INFO-ATARI,INFO-APPLE etc being sent to any of the net.micro* newsgroups? Is there an INFO-COMMODORE/VIC? If none of them are being sent to usenet, can they be? Thanks, Eric Evans decvax!yale-comix!evans
