Hi there, I am taking a course in Parallel Processing this semester. Part of the course work involves writing a paper on any Parallel Computing machine (Intel iPSC/2-VX is an example) I could not come across much info in our library about the same. If you could send me any information or tell me whom to contact or which number to call for such info, I (and my partner !) would appreciate it very much. Any kind of information about any multi processor machine would be helpful ( eg. - Alliant FX series - ELXSI 64000 - Encore Multimax - Sequent Balance 2100 - Cray - Ncube - etc). Thank you very much. -- Ashish Chowdhary UUCP: { sun!sunatl, gatech }!emory!ashish Dept. of Math and Computer Science BITNET : ashish@emory Emory University, Atlanta, GA-30322 Internet: ashish@mathcs.emory.edu

Hello, I am presently preparing a Ph.D. thesis about parallel algorithms for Surface/Plane Intersection by subdivision methods on a distributed computer. In 1988, I developed an algorithm for curves intersection using the Bezier-Bernstein representation. In 1989, I developeed an algorithm for Surface/plane intersection on the hypercube FPS T40 (32 processors). And now, I am trying to define a theoretical model for this problem. Thus, I should be glad to find people who are working in similar subjects (especially Surface/Plane and Surface/Surface Intersection) in order to exchange ideas. Of course, I am also interested by references about these subjects. Thank You very much for your cooperation.
