Call for Abstracts: 13th IMACS World Congress on
	      Computation and Applied Mathematics,

		  Dublin, Ireland, July 22-26 1991

I am organizing a session on the general topic of
algorithms for mapping problems onto parallel architectures.
If you are interested presenting a paper in this session, please
e-mail me a short (250 word) abstract,
or US-mail me a hard copy of material related to a talk you
would give, by March 9.

The IMACS (International Association for Mathematics Computers
in Simulation) Congress will feature sessions on
theoretical issues in numerical analysis, mathematical
applications, new tools for computation (e.g. parallel architectures),
contributions to numerical computing from non-numerical disciplines.
In the past there have a number of sessions on parallel compilers,
parallel languages, runtime systems,
mapping algorithms, and other system-related issues.
Topics in `91 will include parallel algorithms, dynamic load balancing,
and parallelization of sparse problems.

Pre-conference proceedings will be published, and selected papers
will be published in a post-conference transactions. Enquiries about
IMACS and this conference should be addressed to
	Paulene McKeever, IMACS `91
40 Millview Lawns, Malahide, Co Dublin, IRELAND
	Telephone (+353-1) 452081 (or 808025)

While algorithms for mapping numerical applications is an obvious
fit for this conference, I will entertain any submission on the
general mapping issue.
