The Fifth Distributed Memory Computing Conference (DMCC5) is
a continuation of the highly successful Hypercube Concurrent Computers and
Applications (HCCA) conference series. DMCC5 will preserve the spirit of
the preceding HCCA conferences, providing a forum in which researchers
in the field of distributed memory computing from government, academia, and
industry can present results, and exchange ideas and information. Although
the conference series will continue to play an important role in the
development and use of distributed memory, MIMD concurrent
computers, DMCC5 will also explicitly include SIMD machines, thereby covering
the whole class of distributed memory computers.
DMCC5 will feature 4 invited talks, 2 mini-symposia, 105 contributed talks, and
over 100 poster presentations. Pre-conference tutorials will be held on April 8.
