CALL FOR PAPERS HIGH PERFORMANCE AND PARALLEL COMPUTING IN LISP Two days in mid-Nov 1990, U.K. Sponsored by the British Computer Society Parallel Processing Specialist Group. Implementations of Lisp span the spectrum of available hardware platforms - from p.c.'s to worksta- tions & dedicated Lisp machines through to multi-processor, parallel computers. This conference aims to bring together researchers working on developments in compiler technology, hardware design, systems and algorithms users of high performance Lisp systems in research & industry engaged with problems in natural language understanding, robotics, reasoning, planning etc. in fields such as - but not limited to - defence, telecommunications, finance etc. vendors of high performance lisp systems and applications. The programme will have an international flavour and will consist of keynote and invited speakers, contributed papers, tutorials and panel sessions.
