Does anyone out there know what Dr. Chen and IBM are up to lately? The last press release I have is one of there own release April 15 1988 saying that SSI and IBM had signed a formal agreement. SSI sent me this press release on May 12 1989. What has happened to then in the last year? As far as I know, Chen stated that he is to design a computer 100 times as fast as the current fastest without using any Cray technology. Anyone know what this machine is likely to look like?
