[comp.parallel] CAP-256

dirk@gmdzi.UUCP (Voosen) (07/20/90)

Dear Mailing List,

I am looking for information about the CAP-256.

The CAP-256 is a multiprocessor system developed by the Japanese
company Fujitsu. It consists of 256 processing elements. Each
processing element consists of a microprocessor i80186, 2MB RAM
and 96 KB video RAM.

I am developing a graphics system for visualizing data generated
by simulations of massive parallel systems. The simulations run
on a transputer based multiprocessor system.

So I am specially interested in graphics facilities of the CAP-256.
Is there any literature about the CAP-256? If possible, please
send me bibliographies or papers about this multiprocessor system.

Thanks in advance,

  Dirk Schlierkamp-Voosen

PS: I am also interested in literature about graphics systems of
    other massive parallel computer systems.
