Dear Mailing List, I am looking for information about the CAP-256. The CAP-256 is a multiprocessor system developed by the Japanese company Fujitsu. It consists of 256 processing elements. Each processing element consists of a microprocessor i80186, 2MB RAM and 96 KB video RAM. I am developing a graphics system for visualizing data generated by simulations of massive parallel systems. The simulations run on a transputer based multiprocessor system. So I am specially interested in graphics facilities of the CAP-256. Is there any literature about the CAP-256? If possible, please send me bibliographies or papers about this multiprocessor system. Thanks in advance, Dirk Schlierkamp-Voosen PS: I am also interested in literature about graphics systems of other massive parallel computer systems. +----------------------------------------------------------------+ | Dirk Schlierkamp-Voosen | | GMD (The German National Research Centre for Computer Science) | | Dept.: Z1.AS | | P.O.Box 1240 | | D-5205 Sankt Augustin 1 | | West-Germany | | phone: (+49 2241) 14-2876 | | email: dirk@gmdzi.uucp | | dirk@zi.gmd.dbp.de | +----------------------------------------------------------------+
