			    NACLP '90 Workshop
				  on

                 PARALLEL EXECUTION OF LOGIC PROGRAMS

			   November 2, 1990
			    Austin, Texas


This workshop will be devoted to new trends and directions in the parallel 
execution of logic programs, and will be held immediately following
the North American Logic Programming Conference (NACLP).  The topics 
for the workshop will include but not be limited to:

	And-, Or-, and Stream-Parallelism
	Combinations of the Above
	Experience with Actual Implementations
	Optimizations and Performance Analysis
	Scheduling and Granularity Analysis
	Architectural Considerations
	Application Areas

Attendance at the workshop is open to all NACLP '90 registrants, but, 
due to space limitations and the need to provide better interaction, 
the number will be limited.  If you wish to attend, inform the workshop 
organizer (at the address given below) of your intention to attend.

short position paper (1-2 pages) by Sep. 1, 1990 to the workshop

Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection by Sep. 15, 1990.
E-mail submissions are welcome.  

Presentations are expected to have a 20+10 format: 20 minutes for 
presentation, 10 minutes for discussion.  The exact duration 
will be determined to some extent by the number of presentations.
