Hi everybody, I'm sorry to bother you with this personal request, but it is the last chance to get hold of information, I desperately need. I spent a few weeks in the library to find papers related to our planned approach to describing data-flows between processes on an array-processor. The only thing I found was a paper by S.Sobek, M.Azam, J.C.Browne on "Architecture and Language Independent Parallel Programming: A Feasability Study" presented at ICPP '88. (Yes I read the papers by J.C. Browne in the Proceedings of the '89 ICPP, but he seems to have become on of the semi- automatic parallelizer people, which truely is a fine approach to the problem but not the one are planning to follow) To make long tales short, I would like to get in touch with S.Sobek. The only thing I know about him is that his Ph.D. Thesis was to appear in Aug 88 at the University of Texas at Austin. So there is little chance he's still there. If you can give me any clue to where he might be now, or could tell him to send me mail, please do.
