I am currently researching applications which are intractable to existing computer architectures due to their excessive computational requirements. For example, tasks which could take years to complete on existing supercomputers or suitably powerful parallel processors. I would be interested to hear from anyone who could provide me with information on such applications, indicating why the computational requirements are so excessive. Thanks --
