Does anyone know what data format is expected by the CoCo's DLOAD command? It's intended to download some kind of program code from another computer (via modem, RS-232, etc). It is believed to be ASCII Hex format (not BASIC stmts, for example), but that may be wrong. If it's Hex, what format? Mikbug? Intel? What about checksums, etc? The Shack manuals mention the command but give only one line of description. They show a string argument and a 2nd arg which is either ==0 for 00 Baud or ==1 for 1200 Baud (1st one there was 300, oops). What is the 1st arg for? Several of us at The Hill would appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually used this to transfer data, programs. or ? Coconuts shouldn't have to go nuts -- mike k
