The Northeast Parallel Architectures Center at Syracuse University (NPAC) is offering a workshop on the Connection Machine November 28, 29 and 30, 1990 from 9-4:30 each day. There will also be laboratory sessions on November 28 and 29 in the evening. The training will take place in the Center for Science and Technology, Room 1-019, 111 College place, on the Syracuse University campus. The workshop will be a combination of lectures, guided laboratory sessions and time for researchers to work independently. Some of the topics to be covered are: the architecture of the Connection Machine, CM Fortran, C*, the data vault and generic display. Participants may bring a sample of their code on which to work during independent laboratories. There is a registration fee, due November 21, of $30 for faculty and students and $300 for non-academic participants. In addition, please include if possible a brief descriptin of the research project for which you would like to use the connection Machine.
