[Tommy is interested in comments on the form of the newsgroups and how they are handled. I really feel that this should be carried on offline. I will let the initial discussion start here since I don't have a better idea. But I think there are two questions you are being asked to decide up: moderated versus unmoderated is totally independent of digest or message form. For example, those folks in Europe and especially in Germany pay a premium for each message. Digest would be better for them. Note that comp.parallel is moderated, but not in digest form. --steve ] I imagine that many readers of this group also read comp.simulation. Is the current Digest format of that group acceptable? Paul Fishwick does an excellent job, which serves a purpose, but the digest form significantly reduces the ability to enter into dialogue with other readers. I've already mentioned this to Paul, but he feels that the current format is the preferred one. Is this the case? Or is there a case for changing it to the more common format - moderated or unmoderated? tk
