I got the impression that blank boards are not tested (for obvious reasons), and that their wave-soldered boards excluding ICs may in fact be tested out with a good chip set, then shipped out after they pull the ICs. Sounds crazy, but its the next best way to test a board if you don't have some ATE lying around. In any event, when a board has over 3500 solder joints, I'd rather let a wave-soldering machine solder it for me. Dan
