the latest infoworld refered to some information it had published in a previous issue on the apple lisa and macintosh (not yet announced) computers. did anyone read that? i have seen no information about the macintosh other than it is a cheaper version of the lisa and is 68000 based. it is rumored that apple will announce the super ii and the lisa system at its annual meeting in january.

Here's what I know from a NYTimes article. Lisa is coming out in a few months, with the cost in the $7-10K range. They talk of the 'new' concept of overlaid virtual sheets of paper that it uses. They also say that VisiCorp is making software for other (unknown) machines that is based on the same concept. And, yes, MacIntosh is a cheaper version of Lisa directed at the home computer user. There is also a 'Cortland' in the $2K range, and a 'Golden Delicious' for ~$300 [ :-) ]. ~e
