I am very much interested in the recent discussion of object-oriented/etc
discussions on the net. I think it would illuminate the discussion to give
some specific examples of the syntax/semantics of each language. I'm well
aware of the fact that the full advantage of many languages/systems show
up only in full-blown/large systems, however I think if you are unable to
come up with simple examples that show the advantages of your system in a
simply-understood environment, you may eventually lose the battle,
even though your system may be superior in other aspects.
I believe the best programming interface (face it, programming languages are
only a textual replacement for a user interface) is consistent and
straightforward from the very start, allowing beginning users to use
the same thing that advanced programmers use.
My challenge: Give some examples !!!
