[comp.parallel] Bay Area Visit: Anyone from Stanford or Berkeley

wayne@saturn.cs.swin.OZ.AU (Wayne J. Cosshall) (04/16/91)

This is an item for any researchers at Stanford or Berkeley.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and I will be in the San Francisco
area from the 22nd of April for the Transputing '91 conference.

I would like to visit either of the above institutions, ideally during the
period of the 1st to 3rd of May to see what work in parallel machine
architecture is being done, and also to talk about the teaching of Computer
Science.

FYI I head the Computer Graphics and Parallel Machine Architecture research
group in my department. We mainly do hardware oriented work with a computer
graphics leaning. Currently we are finishing a hybrid shared/distributed
memory computer using transputers and are about to start the next stage
using the new H1 Transputers

Thanking you in advance,
