There is a new facilities document that describes the technical
offerings of the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer
Studies Parallel Processing Lab. The document's current version is 2.0 and
all earlier versions should be discarded as they no longer accurately
reflect the state of the lab.
In addition to the facilities document, documentation for software
packages dealing with the various Connection Machine programming
environments is now available. All of these documents may be got via
anonymous ftp from ftp.umiacs.umd.edu (128.8.120.23) and all are described
in the file /pub/cm/Index. It is recommended that you get the Index file
and then copy the files you find interesting.
Please note that some of the files will require you to have binary
mode set before you initiate the transfer.
Here is an example of getting the Index file:
