A friend is looking for a home computer to do word processing, financial planning, and home data base management. From what I can tell, he can get the best deal out of an Osborne because it's a complete system (okay, no printer) and comes with all the software he needs. Pricewise, I think it beats the others cold for what he wants. Does anyone know of any serious deficiencies in the Osborne other than that silly little screen? Documentation? Hardware reliability and support? Those interested will receive summaries of my responses. Of course, if you know of a system that gives screen, keyboard, enough memory, two disk drives, and ten or so business programs, all for about $1700, please tell me.
