Hey, here is a *simple* question for all you .tech'ies (or .guru's): How do you draw outside of the 320x200 boundary on the screen (meaning overscan)? I'm working on a game. The game draws a background, but it only covers 320x200. Do I have to open a superbitmap window? I would prefer a solution where I can use the 320x200 window if possible. Thanx for the help... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ "...Check out Guitar George, ~ ~ He knows all the chords. ~ ~ He's strictly rythmn, ~ ~ He doesn't want to make it ~ ~ cry or sing..." ~ ~ ~ ~ Sultans of Swing ~ ~ Dire ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -- *********************************************************** * David Geary, Boeing Aerospace Co., Seattle, WA * * I disclaim all disclaimers.... * ***********************************************************

You can't draw outside the boundary of a screen, but you can make the screen bigger. Does that answer your question? There is a section in the RKM manual I believe on loading your own View and doing stuff to that screen. Sounds ideal for a game. --Chuck McManis uucp: {anywhere}!sun!cmcmanis BIX: cmcmanis ARPAnet: cmcmanis@sun.com These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
