I am not generally in favor of a subgroup for cbm computers at this time. I don't really see the volume of specialized material yet that would justify such a newsgroup. I read all net.micro.* groups and still am not overwhelmed by any great volume of news. Why don't we wait and see if there is really THAT MUCH special interest stuff. For instance, if anybody wishes to comment on 80 column adapters for the commodore 64, I am interested to hear. I really don't want to buy a computer without 80 columns because I want to do word processing. I like the 64 otherwise though. Is there a software mod or hardware that does 80 col and still retains any graphics modes or color?
